Do I need an OpenAI account?
Yes. The chatbot runs on your own OpenAI Platform account. Create a secret key at platform.openai.com and add some prepaid credit; $5 is enough to start. The setup wizard walks you through it.
Is my ChatGPT Plus subscription enough?
No. ChatGPT subscriptions and the OpenAI API are billed separately. The API needs its own prepaid credit in your OpenAI Platform billing settings.
How much does it cost to run?
You pay OpenAI per use, which is usually a few dollars a month for a small site. You can pick a cheaper model and set hourly and daily limits per visitor to keep costs predictable.
Which languages does it support?
